Help and Information Centre

Office

Situated adjacent to the Village Hall, the offices have been provided with Parish Council funds to provide a local 'One-Stop' help and information centre for Corfe Mullen people on a range of local services.

The office is open 9am till 2pm Monday to Friday and is staffed by the Assistant Clerks, Mrs Claire Gamble and Mrs Sheila Bird.  Why not come and visit, have a look round and let us know what you think we could help you with?

Have you ever wondered who is responsible for what and not known who to contact with a problem or issue?  Well, now you can come to one place and we will help deal with your issue or query.  It doesn't matter if it is something usually dealt with by the District or County Council, or, indeed, any other body – we will try our best to help you or point you in the right direction.  And if we don't know the answer – we'll put you in touch with someone who does!

Planning applications for the Corfe Mullen area are available for viewing.  So instead of having to travel to Furzehill to see whether a proposed development may affect you, just pop in to us to have a look at the plans at your leisure.  We also stock planning application forms if you are thinking of improving your home.

We also sell black and orange sacks, green boxes and issue green bags.

Other issues we might be able to help with are anything to do with highways, hedges, roadworks, welfare benefits, contacts for local organisations as well as of course dealing with problems or issues to do with Parish Council services such as the  Recreation Ground, Springdale Road Open Space, play areas, cemeteries, allotments and our meetings.
